Measures water pressure in a well pump system
0 PSI to 100 PSI range
1/4 in. lower mount connection
Steel case
Can connect directly to jet pump housing or to tank tee at the well pump
A:Â No... Most air compressors pump up higher than 100 psi.

A:Â I would not use it on any air compressor. It only goes to 100 pounds. Most air compressors usually make over 100 pounds of pressure.
by|Jun 6, 2022
A:Â Most compressors produce well over 100 PSI. With that said, it would probably be best to use a gauge that is more inline with the maximum PSI of your compressor.

A:Â I have not tried it but was told there is a difference between air and water pressure gauges..
by|Jun 4, 2022
A:Â No, this should be used in a water system only.

Answer This Question
A: I believe I read it was lead free. I thought it was advertised as a well pump gauge. I’m using it on my well pump.

A:Â YesÂ
by|Feb 9, 2022
A:Â Gauge does not indicate it is lead free so very unlikely it is. Gauges that are specify lead free
by|Feb 9, 2022
A:Â It meets the federal low lead standards of less than 0.25%.

Answer This Question
A:Â If this is for an expansion tank (ie well water) this would the correct part
by|Apr 9, 2021
A:Â It should since it operates on air pressure. You would need to install it with the expansion tank bladder so it is on the air side of the system. Just install a tee at the adjustment valve and place the gauge on one port and the adjustment valve on the other port.

A:Â Yes! It should work up to 100 psi pressure.

I used these pressure gauges for my home water filter system. Two on each end of the system to monitor filter health. Worked out well for me

adapter is made of thin cheap porous metal
This may be okay with the 1/8 solid brass fitting but keep an easy out in your toolbox if you plan on using the adapter because it’s a thin cheap low grade brass that will snap off before you even have a chance to seat it. Buy the solid proper fit and save the headache.

Purchase Everbilt 100psi pressure gauge and installed on my home well about two weeks ago! With that said I have no complaints! What I like is the price of about 10 bucks each. I purchased two gauges because of the price and because I do live a decent distance from my local Home Depot I decided to have a back up. The numbers are very easy to read even in the rain. I also highly recommend purchasing Oatey Fastape to insure a tight seal.

Inexpensive. OK for the price. You get what you pay for.
Very inexpensive pressure gauge. Comparable professional gauges cost much, much more. Best used for non-critical applications. Not damped, so if used with a pump and located near the pump, needle vibrates to the point where it is useless until the pump stops. In this situation, I do not expect it to have a very long life.
