How much weight can it hold
The weight claims are based on the system. The heavy duty system when installed properly hold 90lbs per linear foot.
Will the regular duty 12” shelving wire shelf fit 12” heavy duty bracket? They don’t seem to have the heavy duty 12” shelving wire anywhere.
12" HD wire shelf is in Everbilt stores but not in closetmaid stores
What is the part dimension where it connects to vertical rail?
Can these brackets be used with Everbilt melamine (solid) shelves? If so, is there a gripper available that would work with the bracket to prevent movement/sliding of the shelves?
there are HD wood shelving brackets and wire shelving brackets. The wood brackets will have holes in the bracket to run screws into the wood shelf to prevent movement/sliding issue.
Can the heavy duty Everbuilt brackets be used with the all purpose Closetmaid shelf?

Yes they can
Can I cut through these shelves without totally destroying them? I'm wondering mostly about the edge laminate.
When I cut these shelves, I usually put painters' tape down over the cut line to ensure it doesn't chip.
