A:Â I mounted mine directly on the wall and there is room for the pegs.

A: No need for a frame. The board has pegs with holes for screws on the corners so it doesn’t sit flat against the wall.

Q:Can these be fastened to steel studs or walls in a shed?

Answer This Question
A:Â When fastening the 16 in. x 16 in. Interconnecting Plastic Pegboard in Black 50 lbs. to steel studs, we recommend using sheet metal screws or self-tapping screws.
by|Jul 28, 2021
A: The screws worked in a wall for me. I didn’t use the screws in a steel stud but it should work.
by|Sep 21, 2021
A:Â Yes. Use the prongs as the pass-through for the screws..
by|Aug 3, 2021
A:Â Mine are attached to my shed anchored to wooden studs. If you anchor anywhere else I would use caution that its not a support beam or anything structurally that could be compromised by using an anchor.

Worth the Money
Totally worth the money and I am one to find the least expensive solution. In my last garage I installed the traditional fiberboard pegboard 4x8 and had problems with tear-outs due to the nature of the fiberboard. Yes, these Everbilt squares are more expensive but, in my opinion, worth the money. I've seen some installation videos but don't recommend the methods shown. The "instructions" recommend using the outer holes but other people have used the holes that are closer to the wall in the wall spacers. The problem with that is they won't hit the 16 inch typical wall stud spacing. Thus you should use the outer holes. Make sure you mark your studs accurately. I did add another screw in the center after marking and installing a plastic self-drilling drywall anchor. I also highly recommend using, not a wood screw or a bugle head drywall screw but a black 10x2 1/2 inch "Truss Phillips Cabinet" screw. This has a low profile and wider head and secures flat against each panel hole. Yes 2 1/2 inches is not needed but I could not find the same in a 2 1/4 or 2 " length.

A friend of mine recommended this product and I’m glad he did. What I like the most is that you can design and place them in various ways, not like the old large one piece peg boards. Also the quality and durability is pretty good. Every square has 5 screw holes to attach to the wall making very reliable to hang your tools or whatever you want to hang.

great gym organizer
I used these to organize my lat pulldown accessories! It was absolute perfect! I used 6 and i even have a little more room to add a few more if I so desire. Love it. Super easy install with drywall anchors (the stud locations did not work in my favor). Highly recommend!

Well designed pegboard
Just needed a small pegboard to fit in small area of garage for my garden clippers and this one was perfect. Very well designed and extremely easy to install. I got two in case I needed any extra since they can link, but didn't need it currently. Highly recommend for small areas or using several to link together.

great lightweight peg board.
This thing is perfect and did exactly what i needed. Holds up a couple lightweight hand tools in my utility room. Easy to install just one, but looks very simple’s if you wanted to expand to more. Their in store system for accessories is simple also, just up the color coded pegs you need for your board and you’re good to go.
