#16 x 1 ft. Zinc Plated Steel Jack Chain

Everbilt #16 x 1 ft. Zinc Plated Steel Jack Chain can be fed through a 1/4 in diameter hole.

Depends on the style you want but any chain with a working load of 50 lbs or more. This chain can only hold 10 lbs.

You may use jack chain for the application, however, we cannot make a specific recommendation as we do not know the look you are trying to achieve. Please be aware of the weight of the pots and the working load limit of the chain.

i Do not think the number is a reliable indicator of weight bearing ability. But the lower number is a thicker wire.

I doubt the chain would hold up to intense heat. It is a light-weight chain.

Do not recommend as it might over the work load limit

I used a small threaded 'hook' available in the hardware department. Or to make it more secure use a threaded 'eye'. spread a link with pliers and pinch it closed in the eye.

You may want to try using Store SKU 1000009858 for this application.

I would use and eye screw it the ceiling then attach the chain with an s hook. You could bend the eye hook to accept the chain directly and by pass the s hook.

#16 chain is smaller than #14.

Probably not, you will need to grab a worker in the store or you can cut it yourself most times.

The chain is normally cut while the customer is at the store. You can call your local Home Depot store to see if they will pre-cut it for you prior to arrival.
