Very easy to install and looks very good! I used it for the water heater enclosure's door. It came out pretty nice.

Bought it for the vertical option and it worked out...
Bought it for the vertical option and it worked out perfectly. Installed it in 15 min including having to notch out a piece in the molding. Used it to latch in one side of French Doors at the top. We like the look but only wanted to use one side. The latch accomplished that.

Installed on basement door for added security. It matches the oil-rubbed bronze hardware on door. Installation was fairly easy with a square, drill and screw driver. I used a chisel to mortise the latch hold on the jamb. My only complaint and reason for four stars is that the sliding action for this bolt is rough, it does not slide easily. The previous one I took off the old door was the same size and style (but bronze) and it was built better and slid better.

Poor Quality
Small knob broke off within a few uses. Bought another to replace it, and the knob broke off on first use! Could probably get a replacement at no cost, but don't think I'll waste the gas to go get another one!!
