When installing or repairing a chain link fence, high-quality Everbilt chain link fittings provide long-lasting stability and curbside appeal to your project. Everbilt 2-3/8 in. Patented Chain Link Post Caps (US 11,274,466 B2) help swaged pipe and cap fit together. Metal Fence Post Caps sit on top of the corner posts (end/terminal posts) to keep yard clippings, debris, and insects from clogging up the posts. They also give chain link fencing a finished look. The chain link fence post cap is made from aluminum and is designed to resist weathering and rust, and increase the longevity of the metal fence fittings for outdoor use. This chain link fence hardware will fit on top of a 2-3/8 in. Dia corner or end posts. These caps are often called No-Way Post Caps or Zero-Way Post Caps because they do not have an opening to accommodate top rails. A full line of Everbilt Chain Link Fencing framework, fittings, and gates are sold separately.

      This Everbilt 2-3/8 inch diameter round aluminum silver post cap is a nice addition to the steel posts for my fence. They're pretty sturdy and easy to install. The posts come with a machined edge at the top to accept the rim that is machined into the cap. A simple pop down onto the pole and you're good to go. If it's a bit of a snug fit you can lightly use a rubber mallet to pop it on, but do not use a metal hammer. The aluminum caps are lightweight and easily damaged by impact. The finish on the aluminum caps is much more shiny and reflective than the galvanized fence posts they get installed on.
