Where is the 115 and 230 voltage switch?

Asked by: microteckie
There is no switch, the wiring connections are arranged differently for each voltage. There is a diagram in the installation manual and under the connection housing cover.

Where can I get replacement capacitors?

Asked by: bbeckers24
Take the old capacitors to any electrical supply house. If they don't have the correct replacement they can get one. As long as the replacement is the same voltage, mF rating and size it will work fine.

does this pump also works with 220 v

I have the electrical installation for 220 volts
Asked by: pancho
Yes, it will, make sure you pick the correct set of wires, I suggest you hire an electrician wire it for you, at 230 volts you can fry yourself, or burn the house down..See one of my other answer's for wire size and amp draw..

2 HP Non-Corrosive Thermoplastic Construction Sprinkler Pump is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst pump you'll ever buy I have gone through about 10 of these pumps. Never had this kind of problem in the past at Home Depot. I tried to tell Home Depot these are inferior pumps and motors that don't work after short period.. I ran a motor rewind shop in the Navy and these are pure junk. My advice don't buy this junk and Home Depot should be ashamed to have them on their shelves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worse pump I ever had. I purchased the pump in December of 2015, I replaced a Flo-Tek same HP and exact replacement , installation was very easy, pulled mine out and dropped the Ever-Bilt, in, then the problems started, would not prime, they said I had a leak in the system, so I went back and re-sealed all the pipes I had removed, Still would not prime, but when I got it to prime, I'd lose it over night, Found out after weeks of fighting it that the pump itself had a small leak, Ever-Bilt shipped me a replacement pump at no-charge and I shipped the other back, This New one primed right off, and pumped up to 45 psi of pressure, I felt the problem was solved, after a few days I'd lose the prime again, They said I had a leak in the system, We are at June 15, 2016, and the pump still will not keep a prime, spent $600, extra and had a professional look at and totally redo the piping, still will not hold a prime,

Figured it was a fluke, bought another, it's currently howling like a banshee so loud I can hear it in the neighbors house. It's three months old. THREE. It is used for lawn irrigation 5 days a week for 2 hours total per day. So basically it lasted about 110-120 hours.... Seriously, go buy a different brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from replaced AO Smith 1.5 hp So far so good. Installed and working good, though first day. I bought this pump to replace a 20+ year old AO Smith 1.5 hp. I am going to bring the AO smith in for repair to see if it can be saved. I got the 2 hp everbilt (HD no longer cary the flotec pumps) because so many reviews said these pumps would be about 20% less output than a good pump. This new pump sprays my sprinklers at least 5-6 feet more than the old pump did, so I think I would have been just fine with a 1.5 hp model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I'm very sorry HD discontinued FLotec pumps to replace them with this Junk! THe 1 1/2 hp Flotec last me 11 years of almost everyday use. I had to replace it because it developed a leak and I cracked the housing when attempting to repair it. THis Everbilt brand Suck at every item they manufacture. I had a 4 cycle edger that was useless within one year. Now this pump don't even prime itself. Everbilt and HD failed me Big Time here!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality Purchased first pump in the beginning of march initially it was very quite. After a few days it got loud and in a few more days it screamed like a bearing went bad. Returned to Home depot and got a replacement. The replacement started out loud and in a few weeks the case cracked and blew water every where. I have had many sprinkler pumps since 1971 - THIS ONE IS GARBAGE. Poor rating should be zero. Installation is average IF YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO IT ONCE.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One of the worse purchases ever made!! I purchased this unit along with a 2 hp pool pump from the same manufacturer a couple of weeks ago. I spent over $750!! I have to say don;t waste your money on the sprinkler pump. Unit worked for the first couple of days-now its so loud I can hear it inside my house. It does not have enough pressure to raise my sprinkler heads at the end of the lines. (Bad bearing(s)??) Home Depot will not take it back because I do not have the original packaging.. Everbilt told me to take it back to Home Depot.. I think I flushed $287 plus tax down the toilet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from don't recommend it has a major flaw. it doesnt keep a prime. i have to fill with a garden hose first before i turn it on. and its a shame i wanted to put a timer on the pump but i can't because it would run dry then. i left messages with the company but no response back
