It also has a bracket on the back that can extend to the back of a cabinet that is deeper than 18 inches. The black handles go on the underside and front of the drawers. These are the release mechanisms to pull a drawer out. The drawer sits on top of the rails rather than screwed to the side. This allows for a wider drawer in the same space. Also, when the drawer is removed it lifts off the rails rather than part of the rail coming with the drawer. Quite clever. They slide super smooth and the soft close mechanism is really nice. No more banging drawers. Since it attaches to the bottom of the drawer, this opens up different possibilities for drawer construction such as cutting board, or thick bottom with thin sides. On a typical drawer it is using the space that is normally wasted underneath the drawer. I think this is a clever and quality product.

Heavy duty and sturdy but still closes nice and soft. The undermount installation makes it very easy to attach to the drawer, just flip it over and screw it down. Measure the correct location in the cabinet so that it fits correctly but also double check the drawer alignment with a level to make everything is good to go. This is a high quality solution to turn cheap cabinets into luxurious soft close kitchen or bathroom drawers.

This arrives in a compact package with a printed display of the contents. Chances are good if you are buying one of these you are buying a few...the HD offers a five pack with considerable unit cost savings. Full extension drawers have such a convenience advantage over old style drawers. You never have to remove what's up front to retrieve what's behind. Slamming is a thing of the past with soft close. One of the pictures below gives a size guide that didn't seem available on the website. These come in three inch increments and offer many drilled holes to choose from when installing. These are of a hefty gauge and are very strong, advertised to hold up to 100 lbs!

These are not actually "undermount". I'll tell you why I personally think that. Yes, in one technical aspect, part of the assembly (the brackets at the front of a drawer) do get attached at the bottom. However the "mounting" is done in the back of the cabinet and along the sides. These are not easy to figure out. The instructions are terrible. I had to watch three videos until I found one that actually explained and showed the quirky issues with these brackets. Several good points are: solid and heavy duty and self closing is smooth. Pictures show me attempting to figure out assembly before deciding they were too complicated.

I'm about to embark on a drawer project for a couple of workbenches. These drawers will be fairly wide & I wanted a soft close, so these drawer slides seemed like they would be a good choice. I'm glad I ordered one pair before I did any design work or wood cutting. The instructions are very explicit on how the slides are installed; there is even a sticker visible from outside the packaging, spelling out the critical requirements. I would highly recommend anyone building drawers order at least one set of drawer slides so you fully understand the installation requirements.

These drawer slides are very heavy duty and sturdy. They are easy to mount and work smoothly. They are not flimsy. They hold a lot of weight and slide with ease with small appliances on them. They come with everything you need to install them. I love the full extension on them because you can pull the drawer out the whole length of the slides. I have these soft close slides in all of my lower cabinets. Great product.

There was minimal material to dispose of after installation, which is always a bonus. The product is made of high quality metal. Usage: The contents list in the instructions was helpful in taking inventory of the parts included. Not having installed one before, it took some time to review the dimensions to make sure it would work. You should take careful note of the length mentioned in the instructions title - I didn't notice until later that the instructions included were for the 21 in. model, not the 18 in. model. Due to the small size of the instructions some detail was easy to miss. For example, the rear drawer securing mechanism is a drilled hole and the location of the rear drill-hole is located on the dimensions page. It would also help if some of the terms were better defined. For instance, it's important to understand that the "inside cabinet width" (ICW) for a face frame application refers to the exact distance of the horizontal opening at the face and that the "cabinet side panel" refers to sides of the cabinet as illustrated near where it's mentioned. Some details were left out entirely (e.g. the purpose of the adjustment thumb wheels on the front fixing clips). However, once I adjusted for the instructions being for the wrong model, all the measurements came out correct. An experienced installer would have no problem making it work well. The finished product works nicely. The drawer glides smoothly and soft-closes quietly. No cheap feeling here! The drawer feels sturdy in the extended position and fits precisely in the retracted position. The rails come with grease present, so avoid touching them when they are not retracted. Drawer removal is simple, and the levers are bulky but easy to find and actuate by feel. The rear holes are not as easy to locate - I would have preferred a different method there. A nice feature is that the front wheels can be adjusted to create a perfectly aligned front face in the closed position. Overall Thoughts: Overall, this product gives a smooth, robust feel to any drawer within its specs. The price seems to be on par with its performance.
