These small gauge wire loop rings are great for light duty work, anything that requires little stress or weight. Would recommend drilling a 1/32nd pilot hole to ease installation, it's a bit difficult to get them to grap without a hole. Stainless steel shouldn't rust for use outdoors. Small, inexpensive screw eyes that should be included in every shop's tool cabinet.

These small sizes screw eyes are essential for outdoor projects and wherever they might be exposed to humidity. Here in Florida stainless steel hardware is essential due to the high humidity. The screw eyes are small 15/16" so they are only intended to be used on projects that are light weight or with low tension, such as small, (4-6"), hanging baskets or light weight cord, etc.

Home Depot caries the best hardware
Everyone finds the need for good quality eye hooks at one time or another. My particular first use is the back of picture frames. The 15/16ths eye screw is a must for smaller frames that of course have at least 1 1/4 inches of frame to be mounted in.
These eye hooks are solid well cast and sturdy
These eye screws have good molding and the thread is complete, no mis-casting that stops the install.

SUMMARY: NICE LIGHT DUTY STAINLESS SCREW EYES.
BACKGROUND: We have a swimming pool and Koi ponds and stainless hardware is always the best for equipment and fixtures. The chance to get some stainless Screw Eyes was too good to pass up.
The small hooks have a smooth finish and the threads and eyes are well-formed.
They screw into wood easily (I recommend pilot holes in hard wood.)
The eyes are suitable for threading small cord, like parachute cord, for light tying and holding operations.
SUMMARY: Entirely suitable for light-duty in corrosive or wet locations.

I've used the #212 X 15/16 IN. STAINLESS-STEEL SCREW EYE (4-PIECE PER PACK) and other sizes for a variety of projects and have been satisfied with the size and weight of the eye screws. I've not used them for outside projects so I can't speak to that but I've had no issues with rusting or tarnishing when used for inside projects and crafts. This brand has worked very well for me.
