Installed 2 of these valves for our washer, located in the basement, replacing 2 very old valves. I sweated in new 1/2 inch elbows. Then sweated in 1/2" to 3/4" threaded adapters. Applied pipe thread compound, then screwed in the new valves. The new valves work fine & we really like the 1/4 turn shut off of these new valves.

I used this to make an adapter for my water tank for detailing and it’s been holding up really well. There’s no leak or problems with it at all and the best part is that the knob is just a quick turn to open it.
