A: You could connect PVC pipe or a hose to the drain side. You will need to use an appropriate adapter (1/2-in. female threaded) to adapt to your choice of piping or hosing.
A: I would suggest that you attach a pipe to the female open end of the relief valve, then run the pipe to an available drainage site. If the valve is activated, or fails, you want the escaping water to be directed to a deposit site (drain), to minimize the spillage.
A: These valves are preset to blow off if pressure exceeds 75 psi on your well system. Flow rate would be determined by size of line and amount of water in well tank. You rate could vary from 6-40 gpm
