Questions & Answers

should i replace my springs they seem slack

Asked by: JackJML
Yes I actually replaced the springs as well as all the hardware including new cables , this is the third set of springs in 33 years I replaced, guess they last about 10 years. If the springs when retracted are not bent or stretched out you may only need to adjust the slack by making the cable more tighter.
