Q:The template say the distance the screw holes on the cabinet side is 1.44? or 3.65 cm. On the door side it says 1.22? or 3.65 cm. Which is correct? They can?t both equal 3.65 cm.

We wanted to try soft close hinges. we got one set to give the hinge a try. the hinges come in a plastic bag and were in new condition. the soft close mechanism is build in and unnoticeable after install. they match my existing hinges and the the install was easy, 20 minutes. they work great and we are very happy with them. the only problem. i need about 25 more sets to finish the kitchen.

Decided to make some updates in my house. Decided I would put soft close hinges on my houses cupboards. They went in very easy and matched the holes already drilled in my doors. Installing was a breeze. They came with enough screws to get everything in place. You can take the bracket that is in the cupboard off the hinge. For me this made things easier. I made sure things aligned; then took the bracket off the hinge. Installed it inside the cupboard and the majority of the hinge in the door itself. Someone did point out the use of plastic inside the hinge. it is indeed true.

Euro-style hinges have become more popular for use with cabinets and furniture within the past 20 years. With that has come lower prices and new features such as "Soft Close", and ""Release Button".
They now come in many sizes and styles. One thing they all seem to have in common is door alignment adjustment. No need to drill new holes if the door is not aligned quite right. In a photo attached I have labeled 3 adjustment screws.
Screw A adjusts the door depth
Screws B is for making up/down, or vertical adjustments.
Screw C is for making horizontal adjustments.

These are high quality hinges and the soft close feature is a great asset, especially if you have kids. It works well to control the closing speed of reasonable sized doors. Be aware that these hinges are physically larger than standard full overlay hinges so make sure you have room for them. Also, be aware these are full overlay so they are for frame-less cabinets where all you see when closed are the door and drawer fronts. They will not work on a cabinet with frames around the openings.

I've been wanting soft close cabinet doors for quite some time. People tend to slam my cabinets when they're at my cottage sending loud slams throughout my small home.
These hinges are exactly what I've been looking for and at a good value compared to the individual price per hinge. A couple of things to know before you get started:
1) These hinges are the same size as my regular hinges but the screws going into the inside part of my cabinet are a much wider (machine screw style) which causes the narrower included screws to fall out.(see pictures for more clarity). I would suggest that you either fill the existing hole with wood putty and then use the included screws OR drill through the soft close hinges to make the opening larger and then use your old screws to install new hinge in the same place.
2) The hinge holes on the part that attaches to the door are a little more spread out than my previous hinges so I had to drill new holes so I didn't split the wood because they were close to the previous holes.
Those are just a couple of FYI's so that you can check your existing hinges before getting started on all of your cabinets and realizing that it's going to take longer because of the adjustments you need to make. Hopefully, your previous hinges will be different than mine were. Package also contains a template for installing hinges in new cabinetry.
All in all, I really like these hinges and it's added an element of higher-end cabinetry because of their soft close benefit! I will be purchasing the soft close drawer slides to complete my kitchen project!
