The 4 in. x 4 in. x 5/8 in. Radius Oil-Rubbed Bronze Door Hinge is recommended for interior residential doors.

The screws for this door hinge are #9 x 1 inch.

I had the same issue. I was able to still use the hinge, but I had to make new holes.

I have these on my entry door; however, the door has a overhang keeping the area dry. They have never rusted. Again I have an exit wooden door from garage to patio. It sits behind a steel security door. This seems to be enough to keep the wood door dry-no rust. These will absolutely rust in a wet environment. I have a fiberglass door off the patio to a storage room. It gets wet every time it rains or I spray off the patio. This storage room door has no roof overhang and no rain gutter. I replace these hinges once a year! I am going to try a product called CorrosionX-we will see if it works. I buy these because they match all the other door hardware in my house.

In a wet environment absolutely. I have one fiberglass door to storage room off patio that gets wet when it rains. I replace these hinges once a year - every year. Before I replace these again I am going to try CorrosionX-we will see. I have the same hinges in my house (dry environment) no problems.

This hinge is for use with interior doors and is not recommended for use around moisture.
