Going on six years outdoors and going strong.
I installed these hinges in 2017 for my desk, I did coat all the hinges with paint to protect them. My sprinkler and drip systems lines are stored here for my yard. I needed a good heavy-weight hinge to hold up a large heavy access door. After five years the hinges all work fine and look like new. The Everbilt 4 in. Security Door Hinge features a 5-knuckle full mortise design. The removable pin provides easier installation or removal of our door. Easy to install. I have been pleased with this product.

I really like the way these are adjustable. I remember other hinges that were horrendous trying to insert a small implement to tighten the tension. Needles to say I am not going into that. These hinges are fabulous. A hex wrench is provided to make the adjustments and a pin to hold those settings plus 8 screws. The screws were a tad smaller than the ones I took out but still gripped well. Just set your driver torque low. To adjust simply remove the pin, use the hex wrench to adjust the proper direction and insert the stop pin then remove the wrench. WHAM!!! adjustment made and set. They even look good on my off white door and I much prefer thin color to shiny brass.
BUT, one negative is their strength. I replaced an old bulky spring hinge on my garage entrance and it took 2 of these hinges to close the door. A little weak but still did the job.

This hinge is great. It took me less than five minutes to install and about a minute to adjust. It comes with everything needed to install to include long screws for a solid fit. I like the way they look without paint on them and the finish is clean. My others had been painted over and clogged with paint so it was nice to see these installed without paint all over them.
They fit my Garage Door easily; however, if I wanted to put them on any other door in the house I would have to route out a four-inch groove to fit them because they are industrial sized. Very nice.

I love this product! Its 4 inches takes 4 screws on each plate that attaches to the door and the door frame. I used this for my garage door that leads to the garage. Its a heavy door and with just one hinge I added it to the top and it was able to shut the door with ease. I had one of these that was 3 inches that lasted for 5 years of constant opening and closing im hoping this will last the life of the door. Love the nice color chrome plated and shiny. Easy to install with the door still attached with the middle and bottom hinge.

4 in. Satin Chrome 1/4 in. Radius Adjustable Spring Door Hinge. I just installed this spring hinge on a door leading out to my garage. To make it easy I just used one spring hinge. I just pulled off one of my old regular hinge and replaced it with the sprung version. There are good instructions on how to adjust the spring for the door to close how you like it. You might have to trim some of the door jam to fit the hinge if it dosen't have the same profile of the old hinge.

These Adjustable Spring Hinge's I put on all three of my out side doors, they fit perfect and work great ! This will make it nice when I have to go in and out with my grocery's and other item's, it's a pain when you have to put things down and open the door for each trip back and forth to the car or truck.
What I like about them is I can Adjust them, if I need to keep my door open all the way it is easy to take the pin out and all is good, when I'm done I just reset the spring and slide in the pin.
Easy to install ! Make sure you get the right ones (so measure first) and you'll be happy !!

This spring door hinge works perfectly for my garage access door. I had to increase the cut out from the existing hinge because my original hinge has rounded corners. The spring adjustment is very simple but be very careful that you adjust the tension in the proper direction and make sure the allen tool is properly inserted and DO NOT let it go or it could hurt you. If you set the spring in wrong direction it will be fighting other hinges and instead of helping to close the door automatically it keep it open.
The Satin Chrome is better color that my original painted hinges. Plus the screws are a bit longer which is works best specially if you are replacing a bit worn out hinge.
