Can a 1/2” overlay be used for a 5/8” overlay On a soft close cabinet hinge

Is the hinge for the door one piece and the hinge for the frame a separate piece!

What size hole is needed todrilled for plastic inserts with hinges
This hinge uses a 35mm hinge boring bit for installation. The instructions included with the hinges provide a template to help with proper placement.
If I adjust the hinge so the door closes all the way then I can only open it about 80°. if I adjust the hinge so it opens 105°, then the door will not close all the way. any suggestions?

What is the distance needed between the bottom on the door and the center of the hinge hole; likewise from the top of the door to center of hinge on a standard base cabinet door being 22.5” high. I am using a Kreg jig and need to know where to place it.
Define the "OVERLAY" what does that term actually mean????? on these soft close hinges.
