The cup hooks can be used in this application. We recommend making pre-drilled holes into the frame first, before installing.

These cup books were purchased to go on the side...
These cup books were purchased to go on the side of a table to hold up a wire basket to hold the remote controls. The basket is nearly the same color metal, so it makes a nice match, and they are not noticeable. Very nice for me.

Not as big as I thought they would be. Too...
Not as big as I thought they would be. Too small for many of my mugs. Can't use them on my current project but will think of another way to use them in the future. Like the locking feature.

worry free hook
I used these hooks for my Christmas lights that go all the way to the peak of my house. I had those cheap plastic hooks before they all dry rotted and broke hence all the lights came down. Which is not fun to put back up considering i'm about 35 feet up...
