A:  It certainly can be mounted to an outside brick wall, with a hole drilled in the wall using a concrete drill bit and a concrete screw/anchor.  The item is coated so no bare metal is exposed. I use may of these, but they are all indoors, so not sure how long/if these would hold up outdoors. 

A:  I don’t think it’s meant for outside but it would probably last for a while in a protected area. It would definitely rust at some point.
