This is a ten piece package of metal pan head screws and plastic anchors. The screws are number 8-10 screw size, and the plastic anchors are three sixteenth by one inch long. they are good for hanging pictures or decorations on different non wood walls, they can be used on drywall or plaster. Drill a three sixteenth hole in marked position, insert plastic anchor, be sure to set it firmly in wall to engage the plastic tab, which helps stop turning or twisting in the wall when tightening the screw. Insert the screw and you are set.

These plastic anchors and screws are for light-duty anchor applications. If you plan to use these anchors and screws in 1/2 in. sheet rock the shear load limit is approximately 22 lbs. They are not recommended for overhead use. A 3/16 in. drill is required for installation of the anchor. The ribbed plastic anchors prevent the anchor from turning in the hole during installation. They expand as the screw is tightened for a secure hold and feature a split to ensure expansion on two opposing sides. They have a classic white finish for a simple look. I like the pan head screws for hanging picture frames that have wire for hanging and wall clocks.

Not negative but it sure seems these plastic anchors are getting cheaper all the time. If you don’t drill the hole a size larger then listed the anchor will fold before it’s totally seated. This is true with most I’ve bought from other sellers as well.

These do the job and well! Sometimes you have one of thr bunch that breaks down on you, but you know that very early in the process! These are a must have in every tool box though!
