I received my #8 Zinc-Plated Steel Eye Screws. They came in a package of 50. There are so many uses for them. I like to use them for hanging plants. My wife wants to hang up another hummingbird feeder so I will be using one for that too. All you need to do is drill a small hole into the wood & screw them in. They should last many years. They are zinc plated so they should last for many years.

These are large enough to accommodate a variety of things that need to be hung. They are large and strong enough to hang things like flower baskets. Since they are zinc plated they will stand up to the outside environment and should give many years of service. Considering that this is just hardware there isn't too much to say about it other than it seems to be of good quality.

The Everbilt #8 screw eyes are steel, with a zinc coating. Fit and finish is excellent. - the fasteners are well coated, no apparent defects, no missed areas, and the threads all appear to be well made.
These are not “self-threading” fasteners. A pre-drilled hole is recommended by Everbilt. I’m using a 9/64” drill bit; a 1/8” also works but required considerable force to screw the eyebolt into our wooden fencing. I think that there’s less chance of splitting the wood using the 9/64”, but YMMV.
The #8 sized eyebolt is for light duty applications – hanging holiday lights, etc.
There is no weight limit listed for the Everbilt since the applications vary so much – drilling/installing in soft wood would not have the same retention value as drilling/installing in hard wood.
I’m using the Everbilt #8 eyebolts help restrain some over-exuberant rose bushes by ‘roping’ the bushes to the fence; hopefully as they grow the plants will ‘learn’ the direction I want them to go.

A nice package of 50 screw eyes for all types of work in a clamshell package to store them easily.
I like the thick threads, they start easily by hand and won't pull out like fine threads.
See pics for exact dimensions.
These can be installed by hand without much pressure. For hard woods I'd recommend pre-drilling with an 1/8" hole to avoid cracking or splitting.
These feel super strong, I have no qualms using them outdoors to secure plant trellises and wire for my vines.
Being zinc coated it will be decades before they start to corrode outdoors. Indoors they will remain bright and shiny forever.
Easy to use, super strong, true to size, I recommend them
