I have purchased plenty of these lines in my lifetime and this one is good. It fits nicely and works well. The color is quite vivid, meaning it sticks out if you aren't running it behind the refrigerator. Ours shows just a little but not enough to really be bothersome. The quality of the tubing and fittings are good. I didn't have any issues installing.

8 FT. PEX ICE MAKER SUPPLY LINE I have been using PEX material over the last year to make plumbing repairs. Pex is so easy and durable it is great in any climate. No leaking or bursting can with stand just about any pressure. The installation is so easy if your replacing an existing line just remove the old line and screw on the new line with the included brass nuts.

This is good stuff and is quieter and easier to use than the standard copper line used in most applications. Copper line is also noisy as pressure goes on and off and this is relatively quiet. Attaches the same as other quarter inch supply feeds and works the same. Do not over tighten the fittings, good and snug will do, and do not bind the line and it will last a long time. PEX pipes and fittings have worked well for me.

Whenever I have a chance to use Pex over Copper, I take the Pex option. This supply line was installed to replace our existing copper connection. Obviously it was a simple swap. The most difficult thing was moving the refrigerator away from the wall. The connection is water tight and there are no leaks after a few days of using the pipe. The Pex supply line is durable and withstands movement and pressure of the appliance. No issues so far.

Got a new refrigerator and moved my old out to the shop, I wanted ice, so I got this PEX supply line. Since I don’t use my washing machine outlets often, I got a fitting so I could use this PEX line to connect to my refrigerator.Tightened the ends up, no leaks. I started using PEX a few years ago, it has performed very well. It fit perfectly both to the fitting and refrigerator. It was plenty long enough (8 ft) to reach the frig. Now I have ice in the shop! I would recommend the PEX ice maker supply line, good value

The 8 ft. PEX line has 1/4 in. compression fittings installed. I prefer PEX over copper for the ice maker because it's more flexible and less likely to kink when moving the frige in and out for cleaning. The 1/4 in. compression fittings are compat1ble with every ice maker I've ever come across. Everbilt offers a One Year Warranty and as with most products Home Depot sells there is a 90 day return policy.

A quick and easy PEX upgrade from old plastic. Replacing the water line between your water pipe and refrigerator is an easy chore for anyone with a small adjustable wrench. First, shut off the water and tighten down any in-line valves, usually brass. Have a towel available to catch any water that escapes from the line. Use the wrench to loosen the old line and replace with the new line to the refrigerator. Tighten to snug, not tight. No brass compression pieces are necessary, as the new line has the compression fittings built in. Turn the water back on at main line and open any remaining in-line valves. Done deal!
