I believe that would work. The number stickers come on a sheet. You can just peel them off and put them wherever.

If you have mortar joints, use a masonry bit and drill to install anchors. If installing anchors, use the screw holes in the plaque for the spacing of the anchors and then mount it using the screws provided with the anchors. Another option would be to use a wooden stake driven into the ground with the plaque fastened to it with screws. A one inch square metal tube, aluminum preferred for rust prevention, can be used along with self drilling screws for fastening the plaque. Use a cordless drill/driver to insert the screws.
As reflective green background, it does provide a high contrast street number sign. However, it makes it very easy for people to find the sign and find your house. I know that when I'm looking for a house number I really appreciate it when people have signs like this so you don't have to hunt for a white number on Gray paint for example. It is not artistic at all, and won't match your house colors unless you happen to have a 5 mile green paint on your house, but it does the job for anyone looking for your street number especially at night for EMS
