        A:  The latch to the Black Deluxe Latch Gate Set can be installed on either side of the gate no matter if it swings in or out. Please be sure to follow the directions for installation depending on whether the latch gate set is installed right-handed or left-handed.

          I have only had these two latch sets since May (it’s October). Neither latch locks nor keeps the gate shut. The spring and screws are rusted. The up and down (open/close) lever doesn't even budge. Biggest waste of money.

            The little pin that keeps the gate latch in the lock / unlock position fell out the same day it was installed. I had to mortice out a big groove in the 4x4 post for the latch with a chainsaw because the latch is way too thick. . Bad design and poor workmanship. I'll be replacing it soon but with a better design.
