Each Hinge Pin Door Stop is designed with a self adjusting pad that makes full contact with the door at the point of opening. The door stop is made out of zinc with a bright brass finish for added strength and durability. The doorstop's simple design makes for an easy installation.
A:Â No this doorstop does not fit all hinge pins. I am returning this because the opening for the hinge is too small. It?s difficult to determine online what size hinge pin this will fit on.

Pros: Easy to install and use; Extremely sturdy built; Cons: Dents the door trim/molding VERY easily. A light opening of the door will dent the molding - see picture. No way this will not put an actual hole into the trim within a few weeks. Too bad.

Quick and easy way to protect walls from dents from door handles... fully adjustable to accommodate desired safe distance from wall. Since the hinge pin must be fully removed to install this stop, I suggest you have the door fully closed before driving the pin out of the hinge (easily accomplished with a blunt ended object small enough for the hinge opening)

I absolutely love this product. It is inexpensive, attractive, and functional. In my book that's a trifecta that you rarely find.
It's a doorstop made for light duty residential applications and it does what it's supposed to. It stops doors, and it looks good doing it. I recently purchased a house with a hideous 1980's motif. Everything in the house needed to be upgraded. My wife picked out door handles and I installed them, smiling with satisfaction each time I got to throw one of those awful brass monstrosities right into the trash can. Unfortunately, when I was finished I still had awful brass doorstops that no longer matched the satin nickel door handles.
I picked these to remedy that problem and I'm glad I did. They are easy to install and set to the appropriate stop interval. I put 14 of these on and had them properly adjusted in just over 45 minutes.
Thanks for the great product Everbilt--my doors now look great, the accessories match, and my wife is happy.

Don't expect a long lasting product
I bought one for every door in the house because I have kids. I noticed they don't swing the doors too hard so it's just the product. The metal is cheap and out of the 6 of 7 that I bought, they are broken. The metal just snaps in half. This afternoon I came home from work and found another piece on the floor and I was the last one out the back door. Ridiculous. Spend a little more and get better quality...I hope.
