The Everbilt Light Duty Solid Doorstop helps prevent damage to walls when opening a door. The rubber bumper tip protects the door from getting damaged. Easy to install.
This is not one piece of metal. There is a small (~.75”) component that screws into the wall that the actual doorstop connects to. Problem is it falls off all the time. I am returning

good stop
Good door stop. Looks good, easy to install. Its thinner than it looked in the package but seems sturdy.

I like this product. It serves its purpose, works for light duty applications, is affordably priced and its appearance compliments my satin nickel door hardware very nicely to ensure a smooth aesthetic. In my opinion this product deserves more credit than some of the reviewers have given it. It's meant for light duty, and it does that job well--it is easily a 4 star product.
The screw that mounts this product to the wall is a small diameter than other, more substantial doorstops, and it is clearly meant for locations where it will not be stressed. For applications that require something with a bit more weight, I use (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-Satin-Nickel-Solid-Door-Stop-15576/202033967) as that product has a larger screw for anchoring to the baseboard.
My preference; however, is for the light duty version as it has a more streamlined appearance that isn't quite as noticeable.

Great little door stop. Easy to install. Just make sure you drill a pilot hole.

Door Stop
This product screwed into the base of the door and lined up to keep my handle off the wall. Easy did all doors in a short time. I changed my scheme from brass to brushed nickel

After making the pilot hole and starting to screw it into the wall, it broke off. Now I have part of it in the wall and the other part in the trash… it happened twice. Lesson learned.

Inexpensive but Effective
I had a few door stops in our old house from which the rubber tips had cracked and fallen off long before. These new ones were readily available, reasonably priced, easily installed, and solved the problem!

Breaks easily...
A light bump is all it takes to separate the stem from the base.
It will go back together fairly well, but then comes apart even easier.
