This doorstop works well but the quality of paint on it is poor. I like the spring design so feet and other items wont get damaged by it. Installation is fairly easy, I installed mine over an older stop so I used a longer screw. The screw is inside the stop, by the way. The spring is painted white but a heavy coat of white left a bad finish on it that chips when the spring is flexed. I turned the rough side down so you dont see it but the quality could be a little better on the paint job. The paint also made it a little harder to turn the spring into the bracket when installed. This door stop is made in China.

I had to return them. They were total junk. The spring would not seat properly when you tried to attach it to the base. ALSO , FYI. I tried to pick out new ones that were solid. I could not find 10 of any black ones. I left the empty boxes and all the mislabeled ones on the floor to get someones attention. THAT DEPARTMENT IS A MESS !!!
