A:  Not at all - it is made for the front of the tank.

A:  No, it is a metal rod that works only with a front mount.

A:  I bought it for the color (gold) to match the rest of my bathroom shower/sink outlets. It is a metallic flush arm that raises the release valve to allow the flush. In my case, I was able to make it work since I could bend the arm to the proper angle/location to make it work. My toilet is a Mansfield, so I cannot say for sure that it will work on a Kohler ... Your call, but my thought was for less than $10.00 it was worth a try!

A:  I installed mine on a curved front other than Kohler and it works just fine for me.

A:  Will it work...Yes. Will it look flawed upon close inspection by your very particular and detail oriented friend...Yes. The threaded one piece plastic insert is made such that it rests best against a flat surface. There will be a gap on a curved surface. The more premium hardware often has a foam pad that will form against a curved surface as you tighten it.

A:  You probably should remove the lever from the Kohler and take it to the store to compare with the polished brass unit. I personally don't know what the Kohler unit looks like.

A:  It should but I'd open up the toilet tank lid and compare the current lever to this picture. If it looks similar, you should be good

A:  Yes it took ten minutes or less to install and it works great

A:  This should fit on any toilet, regardless of manufacturer.

A:  The arm itself can be bent to suit, so that is no issue.. The problem may come in with the size of the arm square key that fits into the tank. One time I bought this or a similar one and the tank keyhole was much larger than the lever key. I had to build up the lever key by inserting two pieces of aluminum angle to make up the difference.

A:  I don't know. The toilets are shaped all different. But for the price this was the only choice for me. It works but it is not exact. There is another choice but it is plastic and white. This one needs the connection behind the handle to be one inch + 1/2 inch straight back. It is not. But it still is working.

A:  It should work. Just remember that the threads are reversed.

A:  The dimensions are 1.14 in. x 1.85 in. x 10.16 in.

A:  the thread itself may be half or less of an inch.

A:  The 'inside the tank' length is 8 inches, which should fit most any standard toilet. It also has three holes to secure the chain from the flapper, so it easily adjustable. I have recently installed one, in only minutes.

A:  The handle is about 3" long. The overall length of the assembly is probably a standard length.

A:  The lever arm is 7 3/4 inches overall and has hook holes at 6 inches, 6 7/8 inches and 7 5/8 inches.
