Hello, they are 12 gauge.

How far do we space a (5’ U-Bolt Fence post medium strength,) while setting up chicken coop wire fence.

Asked by GKCGardens June 29, 2020

Answer

Six to eight feet might be typical. If they are farther you may want to add a wood post a an interval of every 4 or 5. Lots of variables. Just for small animals? Spread them out. But even a medium dog will challenge if more than 4ft. Think long term: just for a year or two or you don’t want to do this ever again. Look around for Comparable fences that others have done if possible.
