I have two hangers holding up 4 folding chairs, total weight about 75+lbs, and they are solid and not bending at all.

Can you use on block wall ?

It depends on the weight you are planning to hang on them and what kind of screws/ bolts, etc. you use to secure them to the blocks. Mine are holding up 75+ lbs. and attached to wooden wall studs and not bending or drooping from the weight at all.

I want to thank you all for the responses. I made it up to Home Depot and purchased a few of these. I have screwed them into the side of the house into the studs. The boards are not yet on the hanger. The wind and weather has limited me to hanging them.

Used for Hot Tub Cover
Works great! Used a pair of these hangers as a holder for my hot tub cover. I mounted the hangers outdoors to blocks on the fence line. I did not want to use the hanger that came the hot tub because i wanted the cover to be out of the way, but not touching the ground. So these were a great way to do that!

Multiple uses
These are very universal. I bought 4 originally to hang an 8ft and 12ft step ladder as well as an extension ladder. I liked them so much i bought 6 more to hang my bicycles abd bike rack. Works perfectly! Highly recommend.

I installed 3 of these (32" apart from each other) and they provide a great storage area for multiple windsurfing sails and mast. The sails are no longer taking up space in the corner of the room. Yay!

Great hangers but wrong instructions
Used these to hang my folded Jeep soft top while the hard top is installed. It works great from that point of view. However, the included instructions called for using a 1/8” bit to create the pilot hole, but once I tried getting the screws in, I realized that was too small. Turns out I needed a 5/32” bit, and even then it was super tight. Also would be easier to install with hex screws instead of phillips. I really had to lean into it to keep the phillips bit from slipping off.

used to hang a couple of ladders outside. served the purpose perfectly (holding two 15' ladders); however, not sure how the foam pad will hold up over time in the weather but shouldn't impact effectiveness.

I've had similar brackets in the past and they always end up rusted and bent with the ladder on the ground. This one seems better, as the surface is painted but it's still a bit flimsy for my heavy 3 section extension ladder. I decided to use 3 of the brackets, so I'm glad they could be purchased individually. Also, the supplied screws look like they would rust so I used exterior construction screws to mount the brackets. I'm pretty sure this installation will last longer than my past efforts.

Bought these to hold my ladder up. The foam wrapped arms are nice so it doesn't slide or make noise. Ladder has been up for a couple weeks and has not fallen on my wifesw car. Just make sure to put these into a stud.

I used these before, to hold a long fiberglass extension ladder and never had a problem. This time I got 4 of them and mounted them on the garage wall to hang a Harbor Freight scaffolding. Each bracket is rated for 50 lbs. so 4 should hold it up there. Instead of the included wood screws I opted for lag screws and some fender washers. Drilled some pilot holes and then used a socket to make sure they were secure. It was pretty easy and I'm very pleased with the results.

Anchored 2 of these hangers to the block wall on the side yard to secure the 15 ft 7 in canoe. Works as intended. You'll need to use specialized concrete drill bit to pre-drill the holes and use the blue concrete screws (not included) to anchor these hangers. Took 3 mins to complete entire job.

kayak rack
These things are solid and much cheaper than what you can get online. I had to use two 16 inch pieces of untreated 4x4 to work around a circuit breaker box in the garage. Supports my 70 plus pound tandem kayak.
