A back saver for any 1 man job
These are a must for moving any piece of furniture with 1 person. I used these when my family was moving into a new house while my wife was pregnant. As long as you can get the furniture on the floor that it needs to go on, these are a life saver. With the hard pads for carpet and the soft pads for hardwood these will help with almost all surfaces. PROS: time and energy saver. CONS: the soft pads are too thin to be used many times

Maybe because I was expecting more problems putting on the socks - but literally did all 4 in less than two minutes. Push the sock half way on - and yes then it appears that you cannot quite pull the other side over the lip - so push the sock back until the elastic falls in the groove and work the sock around the other side - maybe it's the women's touch - like putting on hose. Then to keep it from coming off, run your finger around the rim pushing the elastic into the groove all the way around.

works great on hardwood floors, no scratching
I put in hardwood floors and did not want anything to scratch them and I do have to move furniture around to clean. I put the sock covered glides on the discs and can move everything, even a fully loaded refrigerator while we were working in that room! only took one person to move it. these work great. every now and then use the wand tool on your vacuum to clean them. Home Depot had the best price for this product too. I wish they sold extra socks!
