Yes this will fit your toilet
Try to regularly clean the rim and oil the rubber gasket, or return it. Then just get the one popular, standard brand sold because they work on Mansfield and work fine. The only Mansfield part necessary for it is their bowl-to-tank gasket.
I did not buy this type but have Mansfield. I was not sure how well this worked. I would say it could be the water being hard, rusty, or sediment in it. Or, the rubber is too dry and hard. I would take it back but first might oil it a few times so it will slide down if the rubber absorbs the oil. Then wash it and return it. I use regular brand for this part and it fits fine. On Mansfield the one part that has to be ordered from manufacturer is the bowl to tank gasket. No others fit and they leak and the soft gel generic one sold might work but not for as long as the one right one only Mansfield (not aftermarket Mansfield) has. I will get a brand name toilet next time.
The major regular brand type fits Mansfield just fine and keeps working well.
Sounds like the chair is too long. I don't use a change as my handle extends through the loop on the shaft.
No
Installed on Mansfield 160 tank. Just looked on package for Mansfield and knew what size hole it's going into.
LOL this sounds weird but I put a half a brick in tank and it seems to help with water level. Idk something new LOL
Yes, you will need to remove the tank from the toilet to install the valve assembly. There is a lock nut on the bottom outside of the tank, so you will have to do it with any valve assembly.
Yes. Use a flush valve chain from the cup to the lever. Do not use lever to loop at top of valve.
