Absolutly...as a handyman it's my go to blade on my miter saw...often i use repurposed lumber and cut through aluminum as well as an occasional nail or two...
Like butter. Will also could copper pipes and square stock aluminum!

The blade fits a 1 inch arbor so if your saw has a 5/8 (common) then you will need an adapter. You can find them near the blades at Home Depot. The brand I bought was Dewalt.
I use this to cut 18ga steel and immediately after cut through aluminum extrusion and it cuts clean. It will dull out much fast with steEl obviously but when of the better blades I've used.
