Your chosen curtain rod will slide right through the back tabs, as long as you are not using a very thick rod. Round ones such as that in the photo, or regular white rods that are unseen, like I used, work with no problem. I wanted the curtains to wrap around the sides of the windows, assuring that light does not seep. I bought them for the blackout quality. The teal goes color with the room.
