However, as ice makers are automatically programmed with a freezing temperature and timer, the speed of the ice maker may be affecting your ability to create clear ice, as clear-ice is obtained through a Slow Freeze process in order to release any dissolved gasses(these dissolved gasses are what is causing the cloudiness in your ice). These RO Systems will need to be connected to a Drain Line to freely discharge the contaminants in order to produce purified water. Please note, the discharge rate will vary 3-4 gallons down the drain to produce 1 gallon of purified water. 2. Our 11 Stage RO Systems + Alkaline + UV Light is our best selling system! All of our Reverse Osmosis Systems have a RO Membrane Filter: This filter is the "Heart" of the System, this one is the one responsible for purifying the water and removing 90-98% of the contaminants in the water.
