Very Nice Frosted Acrylic Sheet for many Uses!
This is a 24"wide by 48"long by 1/8" thick piece of frosted acrylic by Optix. It came very well packed for shipping and had a nice protective paper film on both sides and bubble wrap in the box. We have some long narrow windows in our front and back door and I wanted to get this frosted acrylic to insert in them. This sheet is a good thickness and yet easy to work with. I was very impressed by the privacy it gives. At about 6 inches the object on the other side is fuzzy and up close it is still unclear, so I believe it should provide privacy like I hoped for. It seems to be fingerprint and smudge resistant, along with shatter and scratch resistant, which is a big plus. It is strong yet light weight to handle and cut. I would leave the protective paper on it while cutting, to prevent any possible chipping of the edges. We didn't have any issues with that.. I can see this frosted acrylic sheet being used in many ways. I would recommend it for your projects!

Great for projects
I used this to make a snake barrier for a Bluebird house I made. I was looking for a thin, sturdy lightweight material that was easy to cut and waterproof. This fits the bill.
The plastic is EXACTLY 0.125 or 1/8 inch (0.3175 cm) thick, PLUS about a 32nd (~2 mm) for the protective paper that covers both sides. The paper is sturdy enough to endure handling in the shop while you prepare it for cutting and won't rip when you mark it for cut lines with a pen or pencil.
The thickness of the acrylic allows you to cut fairly thin/sharp corners and doesn't chatter excessively when cutting with a jigsaw. I still made sure to hold it down firmly on a sacrificial styrofoam board when cutting and had no issues with it.
The frosted appearance would also make it a good choice for exterior door windows when privacy is desired (pool bath doors, camper doors, etc.)

Perfect for the job I have in mind
We have a very oddly placed window in our master bedroom that does not allow us to maintain the level of privacy we want. This frosted acrylic sheet will be cut down to the correct size and installed so that we will not have to worry about nosy neighbors or anyone else peeping our home whether we are home or not. This additional privacy measure along with our home security system and cameras helps us feel more safe and secure in our home and there is no greater peace of mind than feeling comfortable and safe in your own home. This acrylic sheet is super easy to work with, cuts to size nicely without chipping or splintering and is just a great product overall. Love the quality and love the ease of use.

I wanted to make my own light diffusers and this was perfect
I occasionally take close up pictures of plants and insects for work and fun and I have wanted a diffuse light source for a while. Being the kind of person that prefers to build things rather than purchase them when possible I went hunting for something to try. I set up pieces in front of my lights to see how it would do and I got a nice soft glow and all of the harsh edges of shadow were gone. I have one piece left and I think I might make a small light table for tracing and looking at slides.

Great frosted acrylic
Good quality frosted acrylic with few defects. This is a cuttable, slightly bendable frosted acrylic that can be used in a variety of applications.
I would recommend using it as a kind of privacy filter for windows that are higher up and needing a non-optically clear characteristic. At about an inch or so you can see pretty much clear through the sheet, any further than 6 inches and details become quite fuzzy and you can only make out faint outlines that are completely blurred out.
I highly recommend using an oscillating multi tool for cutting acrylic as it is the best tool to ensure that you do not crack it. I will be using this in a lighting application for a custom built cabinet.
The manufacturing is pretty good, with the exception that there are a few edge defects that are noticeable once you get really up close. But this should not be an issue for the vast majority of applications. Comes very well packaged with a protective peel off sheet on both sides. Overall a great quality acrylic sheet.

Heat Barrier For My Patio Table Top
I am using the Optix 24 x 48 inch x 1/8 inch frosted acrylic sheet as a heat barrier on top of my all metal patio table. With summer temps getting between 110 - 120 degrees, the table top is to hot to lay our arm on. I didn't want to cover the whole top, so I decided to cut the sheet to 6 inches wide for each side of the table. This will prevent the top from getting to hot for our arms and will protect the table top finish. A good quality product that should last a long time for my use.

Ready for the Lamps
Part of my woodworking endeavor is making lamps. They are useful, attractive, and can add a lot to a room. With this Frosted Acrylic sheet, I can make shades or lenses to dampen the brightness of a bare bulb. This sheet is 1/8th inch thick and can be cut on my table saw with a 60 tooth blade. I have used clear before in other projects but never frosted.

Durable acrylic sheet can be worked!
I am very impressed with the quality of this acrylic sheet. It comes with masking (paper with slight adhesive) on both sides to protect the surfaces. The product info is printed on the masking which is clever and handy. Per the product text on the masking, "may be routed, drilled, saw cut, and cemented." My sheet measures 23 7/8 inches wide x 48 inches long x 1/8 inch thick. I have kitchen light boxes that need new acrylic sheets and this looks to be perfect.

Good shelf liner
I am using the OPTIX acrylic sheets as shelf liners in my pantry on shelves that I store liquid. I had a bad experience with shelf liners when the liquids spilled out and damaged the wood. The OPTIX sheet will prevent that. They are also easy to clean with a damp sponge. The acrylic is slightly frosted with no color so it does not change the look of your shelves. The sheet will not shatter or break easily and appears quite sturdy. I also got the sheet cut with the paper backings to get the edges smooth. However be informed that the sheet cannot be cut with a box cutter or knife. To get a clean edge you will need to cut it with a skill saw. I had to ask someone to cut it for me.

The clarity is excellent and while it does hold fingerprints after a month of use ive not felt the need to clean it as it hardly affects the image.
It is also very bendable which was important for my application as i was using it for a funhouse mirror for my son.
I could not expect anything more from a product , highest rating.
