Depends on the shape of the plot. If it is shaped as a square a 4 wire fence would require 3 rolls with 700 odd ft to spare. Half of a rectangular Ac. would need 2 rolls for a four strand fence....

I am not sure why the barb wire is sold in the 1320 ft. length; it would be more manageable in a smaller and shorter size. I only needed 200 ft. Other than having to work with a 70 lb.+ bundle, the barb wire was as decribed. I purchased the spool handle and barb wire cutters from another vendor; the spool handle is a must!
