A: Thank you for your interest in our products and reaching out! The Rubbermaid FastTrack Garage 48 in. Hang Rail Track Storage System does come with the hardware.
A: Thanks for your interest in our products and reaching out! The Rubbermaid FastTrack Garage 84 in. Hang Rail cover should be able to slide off the ends. If there is not room for sliding, you can use a flat head screw driver to lift the bottom of the rail all the way down the rail and it can be lifted to remove the cover.
A: It slides off either the left or right hand side.
A: It's not always easy. Heat/cold can affect how easily it will slide off. You have to grip the top and bottom (don't push on the front) and try over and over again to slide it one way or the other. After repeated attempts it will usually break free and you MUST keep it sliding at that point. If it stops then repeat the whole process again. Good luck!
A: Yes it slides off so you can cut to the size needed.
A: If by cover you mean one of the fixtures? Just take something and pry up on the bottom of the fixture and it will pop off.
A: Should be able to slide it right off the end. If you don’t have room, you should be able to peel up from the bottom a little bit at a time. Sliding is the best option in my experience however.

A: I don't see why not. With absent anchors to drywall, it might minimally wobble, but as long as inter-stud distance qualifies, the amount of play should be insignificant to hopefully nonexistent. The question remains as to how much that would affect the weight rating with zero anchorage to drywall. While I expect none, you may have to verify with Rubbermaid about this. They were very responsive when I had questions during my installation. With exposed studs, installation should be far easier and quicker though.
A: Yup
A: Yes, this is what I have done. We have an unfinished detached garage. Makes finding the studs easy!
A: Only if the holes line up with the studs. Or you could drill your own holes through it
A: Thanks for the interest in Rubbermaid and reaching out! The FastTrack Garage Rail can be used without the wall anchors however it will reduce the weight capacity of the rail. For maximum weight capacity we suggest adding sheet rock. We have had consumers add wood in those gaps and be successful too.
