The FIMCO Manufacturing Inc. 6 outlet 1-1/4 in. mini indexing valves is a reliable and economical way to automate multiple zoned irrigation systems. This Hydro Indexing Valve has 1 inlet and 6 outlets which are all 1-1/4 in. slip fit. Simple design ensures ease of installation and maintenance.
  • Valve is recommended for use in a pump driven irrigation system
  • Aboveground and belowground installation
  • Manual and automatic operation
  • 10 PSI minimum pressure rating
  • Can run 5 or 6 zones based on the chosen cam configuration
  • 5 and 6 zone cams included
  • Great alternative to individual solenoid valves
  • 1 valve can replace up to (6) 1 1/4 in. solenoids
  • Operates on water pressure alone eliminating the worry of power surges or lightning compromising your irrigation system
  • 1 above ground FIMCO valve controls all zones eliminating the need to dig into the ground to locate electric solenoid valve boxes
  • Only use standard clear PVC cement (not included) when installing the valve and allow the valve 2 hours to set before subjecting it to internal water pressure, do not use fast setting blue glue as it will rapidly deteriorate the ABS plastic used in the construction of the indexing valve, purple primer has a similar effect and should only be applied to PVC pipe and never the valve housing

      A:  This runs two to five zones depending on the cam that is used. This comes with a five and six zone cam but the manufacturer can provide you with the other cams if needed. If running 3 or 4 zones it will need a special white cam to work properly (not the normal black cam that is sold).

        A:  I contacted the MFG after I wrote this question because I couldn't wait. HD has the wrong description. This 6 outlet valve comes with a 6 zone cam installed and also a 5 zone cam in the box.
