The FIMCO Manufacturing Inc. 4 outlet mini indexing valves offers a reliable and economical way to automate multiple zoned irrigation systems. This Hydro Indexing Valve has 1 inlet and 4 outlets which are all 1 in. slip fit. The valve can be operated manually or automatically to suit your need. The simple design ensures ease of installation and maintenance.
  • Valve is recommended for use in an irrigation system driven by city water
  • Indexing valve can run from 2 to 4 zones based on the chosen cam configuration
  • Manual or automatic operation
  • 2, 3 and 4 zone cams included
  • Pipe size 1 in.
  • 4 outlets
  • Recommended for flow rates of 10 to 25 GPM
  • 10 PSI minimum pressure rating
  • Anti-siphon valve (not included) is recommended and may be required for safe operation of the FIMCO hydro indexing valve on a city water installation
  • Great alternative to individual solenoid valves
  • 1 above ground valve controls all zones eliminating the need to dig into the ground to locate electric solenoid valve boxes
  • 1 valve can replace up to (4) 1 in. solenoids
  • Only use standard clear PVC cement (not included) when installing the valve and allow the valve 2 hours to set before subjecting it to internal water pressure, do not use fast setting blue glue as it will rapidly deteriorate the ABS plastic used in the construction of the indexing valve, purple primer has a similar effect and should only be applied to PVC pipe and never the valve housing

A:  You need a pump or city water with a psi that is adequate for residential use. I think 10 psi is a little low, but if the manufacturer says so, try it out.

A:  Yes this can. 10 psi is needed to seat the indexing valve properly. However, it will operate at pressures as low as 6 psi with the low flow stem and disc. If you contact the manufacturer they are very willing to help you out. Small family owned business.

    A:  This can be caused by various issues. Is the 3 zone cam installed? Is the third zone higher than the valve causing backflow? Call the manufacturer...they are very very helpful. It is a small family business. Their number is 561-624-3308

      A:  you have to cut pipes to level out the 4 zones, make sure valve fits and is seated correctly, look at the water feed from pump and you can reattach to current pump feed line, if not you may to extend that line to fit, worked fine

      Green lawn year long!
      ***Thumbs Up*** Great solution for lawn irrigation! It index up to 4 different zones without the need of wiring several solenoids throughout the back yard. The only not so good about it is setting up the amount of zones that it can cycle through. It comes with plates that block certain cams but it isn't intuitive. I guess I should've read the manual...
