Exactly as described. 4 inch drain pipe that is perferated to allow water to leach into the ground while draining. Good solid material, not too flimsy. I stood on the material while bundeled and it held shape. Cover it in drain sleeve and you should never have any issues with this, ever. Shipped in a box for ease of shipping and arrived with no damage at all.

This perforated drain pipe is perfect for diverting water from flower beds, retaining walls and any where ground water is a problem. I live in a tidal area where the ground becomes super saturated after a lot of rain and this pipe was perfect for draining the water from behind a short retaining wall, in the front of my house. Don't confuse this with drainage pipe or you'll end up all wet. The pipe is packaged well, banded for easy transport and is super flexible while maintaining its shape. If standing water is a problem, use this perforated pipe to take in the water and divert it elsewhere. MADE IN THE USA!

I own 12 acres of land. It is one of the original Homesteads in my county. Over the years, the surrounding land has been developed, and the rain, that would have been absorbed by those parcels, is now running onto my property. It does not help that trees have grown up, and their roots are now blocking natural drainage routes. I got the solid drain pipe to drain the pools that form on the higher areas. I got the perforated pipe to French Drain the flatter areas. I choose this specifically, because I am single and do everything myself. I want things I can easily move. This arrived in a cardboard box, which was difficult to handle, but as soon as I removed the cardboard, I could easily move it with the binding straps. The connections are simple push & lock (see pics).

We have had water in our stone foundation since we moved into our house. The yard is sloped toward the back of the house and we wanted to install some drain pipe to help alleviate some of our issues. The flexible nature of the pipe makes it really easy to put down, it allowed us to work the pipe around all of the corners in our house. Easy installation, very happy with the product.

This, FLEX-DRAIN PRO 4 IN. X 50 FT. HDPE PERFORATED DRAIN PIPE, BLACK worked well for my short-runs in my backyard. The install took a little longer due to the inclement weather. Looking forward to using my backyard and it not be a swamp. The amount of water that drained from another snowstorm was tremendous and not leaks. If you use the appropriate amount of rocks and the best landscape fabric, your install should go smoothly and no need for fo overs!

Solid but flexible in many ways. Having a longer than 25 foot drain pipe has a big advantage of being easier to put just one run in your vehicle. It is also easier to lay out for runs up to fifty feet because it doesn't need a end to end couple. This hose feels very durable and I expect it will easily stand up to foot traffic. The hose takes all of the typical accessories that are carried at The Home Depot.

I have a drainage problem around my house. Even though it sits on a hill, somehow water finds its way between the foundation and the dirt and it comes in and made mildew on my wall. As far as installation being a little difficult, that was probably because it was 20 degrees when I tried to unfold this from the box. I put it under a heater and it was easier to open up then. I added it to the end of my gutter downspout and ran it way aways from my house and so far so good. It leaks through the holes but that spreads the water out without washing the soil away.

I ordered this to solve an issue that I have with rain water coming out of a downspout and then the water pooling in front of the entrance to our garage. I planned on using this pipe to move the water away from the building, but the project will have to wait till spring now that the temp outside is 15 deg. . I noticed the perforations are all around the tube, usually there is an area at the bottom of the pipe so that water can collect and then move along the bottom of the pipe to another area. With this pipe between the 1/2" indentations or dips for the flex pipe walls and the holes being all the way around the pipe, this product seems to be more for dispersing water over an area than collecting it, almost like a leaching field. There doesn't seem to be a way to place this pipe to have that bottom collector area. I wish there were instructions with the product & some more useful video's on the HD website...the video's that are there are rushed and the details are skipped over. If I can't use this for my intended purpose I can always cut it into 4' lengths and slit it down the side to wrap around our small trees, we have a bad deer problem in my area and the males like to scrape their antlers on the bark of small trees, thus killing them...this product would be a cheap solution for that problem! I thought a sock was to be included with the tube, the pic on the box shows one, but there was none in the box, I noticed there was another customers review that he was missing the sock too. The pipe is closer to 4 1/2" wide ad not really strong enough to walk over or drive a lawn tractor over it..

The previous owner of our property diverted downspout rainwater drainage through 4 in. solid HDPE pipe out onto the right hand side of the front lawn. This runoff has caused erosion as the lawn on that side runs off onto a lower terrace and the runoff has moved earth and foliage material built up in a debris pile at the lower terrace. I picked up the Flex-Drain Pro 4 in. HDPE PERFORATED drain pipe to divert water from the solid pipe to allow water to drain across the front of the lawn in measured amounts down to the street. This will allow the rainwater to perform as a kind of drip irrigation system with emergency overflow into the street side drain. The packaging indicated the product had a sock but the actual product does not.have the sock included. The ground is currently too saturated to dig the trench due to the weeks of constant rain so I am hoping to get the project completed in the coming week, provided we get a few days without rain so the ground can dry out enough to dig without creating more erosion. The perforated pipe is very sturdy and has evenly spaced drainage slots cut into the sidewalls and I believe the product is perfect for what I need of it.
