The Frost Proof Gardenia is an attractive uniform mid-sized evergreen shrub. The double milky white blooms of the Frost Proof Gardenia are very fragrant. The 2 in. to 3 in. flowers contrast vividly against the glossy dark green leave all summer long.

I purchased three of these shrubs online during the quarantine. I had a nine foot garden bed in my backyard where I usually plant annual flowers. I decided to plant something a little more permanent, so I don’t have to plant there every year.
These shrubs arrived healthy and strong looking. I planted them in my yard almost three weeks ago, and they seem to have taken to the spot. No yellowing of leaves or shedding of leaves as of yet.
They were about 2 ft tall upon arrival, and nicely full. The leaves were and are still shiny. A vibrant green color. I’m not expecting flowers this year, but am hoping they flower by next summer. Maybe I’ll update this review once they do flower.

Just received my online Gardenia plant fit $39.99 and took a picture of a yellow leaf gardenia plant. Looks dried up and not healthy. Better to buy directly from a store and forget the online plant purchase

Replacement product has more than met expectations
This was sent as a replacement (under the 1 year guarantee) to the same two gardenias I had bought two or three months prior and failed. The replacement gardenias were thick, dark green, robust, and healthy. In fact, they were as large as a third one I planted originally, which was actually bought as a larger pot size. They appear to be doing well.
