Can I use this as just a fence panel that goes into a post? I've been looking for a 5w x 4ft height fence panel that is compatible with the 4w x 6h fence panel but have not been successful.
The Vinings Gate is only compatible with the Vinings fence system. You might be able to adjust the hardware and mount to posts--but we do not have installation instructions for that. Best, Product Support
We have an existing wood fence. Can these hinges be used to mount the gate to a wood post? Would this eliminate the need to purchase the gate posts?

We have a 5 ft. gap that we want to fence/gate up. If we install a 5 ft. wide gate with two posts, no fencing, would that work? Or would the weight of the extra wide gate be a problem, causing lopsidedness and loud creaking whenever the gate is opened/closed?
