Product Overview

This 16 in. No Flat Wheelbarrow Replacement Wheel with heavy-duty ball bearings and 5/8 in. bore is a perfect replacement wheel for wheelbarrows and carts. This tire will not need air and the solid polyurethane design means you will never be stuck with a flat tire. Replace your old tires or regular air-filled wheelbarrow tires. This wheel includes a universal adapter kit for proper fitting.

Shim it with a piece of plastic pipe over the axel or drill and cotter pin the axel...both ways will need washers.

I purchased these for a tow behind trailer that would hold allow transport of a 100 lbs. propane bottle to be utilized with a weed burner on the family ranch (Kinda hard to drag one of those around by hand). I was very pleased the flexibility to use a 3/4" axle with an easy swap out of the bearings. FYI put the wheel in a vise and use a long punch to tap out the bearing on the opposite side, flip,repeat. Works and does no damage to 5/8 bearings. I tapped the 3/4"bearings in with a wooden block and a rubber mallet to ensure even pressures. AS yo can see by the photo, it works very well. Even when driven over berms and quick turns, it is very stable. It will be a while before I know if they suffer the same flat spot on the tires from setting parked. Will update if they do.

Solid and well built. It was great to have the choice of axle size. I used the 5/8" size and bought 4 wheels to use for a chicken tractor. Definitely recommend if you need a robust set of wheels.

The wheels and tires are excellent. I had top change out the size of the bearings but since they provide the bigger ones with the wheels it was very easy. I used these to replace the pneumatic wheels that came on my tractor supply dump trailer. I had to use a longer axle rod because the hubs ate a little wider and will not be accommodated by the original axle.

This tire is heavier than a tubeless tire, but it bounces and pushed easily, pretty much like my old tubeless tire. It is fairly easy to install, with one problem: Home Depot needs to include additional spacers in the package so that this replacement tire actually fits the wheelbarrows sold by Home Depot!
