Is this fire proof? It will be going on a side wall close to the stove?

Our tiles are class A fire rated and can withstand up to 140 degrees as long as they are kept 6" away from a direct heat source such as a burner. If you place the tiles closer than the safe recommended distance, the panels will warp from heat exposure. Our panels are class A fire rated, so they can withstand up to 140 degrees and should be installed 6" away from a direct heat source, such as a burner. If you have a typical control panel on the back of your stove, you should be able to maintain enough distance. If not, the panels may warp as they may become too warm. Can these pannels be painted?

Unfortunately, we do not recommend painting our finished panels. The only panels that should be painted are our Gloss or Matte White panels. If you desire to paint, please use a paint that is designed to install on a PVC surface and test the area before using for a full project.
