From an end user engineering point of view, this fixture is great! Normally when installing a flush mount light fixture you need to thread a couple of small screw heads through small holes in the light base; which is covered by insulation making it even more difficult. This fixture works a bit differently, there is only one larger threaded shaft that goes through an even larger hole in the bottom of the fixture. Installation, in my opinion, is MUCH simpler than what I’m accustomed too!
Since there is so much open space that is visible to anyone looking at this light, light bulb selection shouldn’t be based solely on wattage and light type. The bulbs are very visible so pick something you don’t mind seeing whenever you look up where you mount this fixture.

I was excited to find a flush mount light with a modern look and yet a rustic, farmhouse feel. Our master bedroom has low ceilings, so a flush mount fixture is a must have.
During un-boxing, I was immediately impressed by the look and finish of the wood fixture. It appears sturdy and looks great.
Installation was simple and only took a few minutes. If you've ever switched out a light fixture before, you'll have no problems with this one.
I would recommend pairing this open fixture with some pretty Edison LED bulbs. We installed it with globe incandescent bulbs because that was what was in our previous fixture, but we plan on replacing the bulbs soon to complete the farmhouse look.
A modern, updated option suitable with a home with a modern farmhouse look.
