how many square feet does 1 bulb cover?

Has anyone noticed what the effective distance is? Could I put two of these in the ceiling fixture in my room and have the bulbs actually benefit plants near the floor or would that be too far from the bulbs?
Thank you for your question, the distance between the bulb and the plant , if they are high light plants should be 6 inches on the seedling stage through the first 2 weeks and from 16-30 inches on the vegetative stage/or flowering stage , if low light stage should be 12 inches on the seedling stage through the first 2 weeks and from 24-30 inches on the vegetative stage/or flowering stage
Can this be used with a basic timer?
Thank you for your question, Actually as long as this bulb is non-dimmable , it will not work on a timer
I used mine with two different kinds of timers that do on/off and it works just fine.
When growing flowers, at what point do you switch the setting from seed to seedling TO vegetative with the adjustable grow light?
You can leave all color settings on.The plants will grow just fine. Plants outside get full spectrum light from the sun, not just red or blue etc.

How well do these lights do with succulents ?

Please keep in mind, High Light Plants (such as tomatoes, peppers, perennials, etc) would benefit from 6” distance during the seeding stage, and a distance of 16”-30” during vegetative/flowering stage. Low Light Plants (such as basil, lettuce, etc) would benefit from 12” distance during seeding stage, and a distance of 24”-30”
would an ELV dimmer or even a standard dimmer (potentiometer) work to control light output?
Thank you for your question, sorry this light bulb is not dimmable, therefore it would not work with any type of dimmer.
