This product was great for making a vintage lantern into a light fixture for our riverside cabin in the mountains!
We had looked and looked for the right type light bulb for a project. We found it at Home Depot, it was perfect for what my husband and I were wanting to do with our vintage lantern.
My husband converted an antique lantern into the perfect light fixture for our riverside cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains with the help of the Feit Electric Original Vintage Style 40-Watt Incandescent Light Bulb and it's old fashioned filament design! The ambiance it added to our cabin living area was just exactly the right touch as it shows the filaments glowing; it is also dimmable which is a very nice feature for altering the mood in the room. A great value!

Love retro
According to my husband I watch way to much DIY and HGTV but I see the decorators using these edison bulbs and I love the looks of them. I needed to change out my very old and tired kitchen light so I bought a Tuscan inspired light fixture from Home Depot and instead of putting the covers on each light I put in the edison bulbs. Love it! It is right up my alley. But the 40 Walt bul s were to dim so I put in 60's. they are not bright like regular bulbs so keep that in mind when buying your bulbs
