Action. Motion. Lights. Instant light activated by motion. Light turns on automatically when motion is detected from up to 19 ft. away. Once the source of motion is cleared, it will take 10 minutes until the bulbs turn off. Great for outdoor use as a preventative measure against trespassers or indoor as a handy hands-free way to light up a space as you walk by. The motion light bulbs work off of microwave technology, which can sense movement through solid objects like doors, windows, floors, the cover of an enclosed fixture, or any solid objects. This motion sensor on the bulbs are sensitive and it will see you before you see the bulb.

Mine has a globe on it and yes it works.
I'm not sure the bulb will work if the globe is opaque, but it WILL for sure if the globe is clear/transparent.
We have ours on our front porch and it has a globe and still works.
Thank you for your question. It should work fine as long as the globe is open, clear, and not frosted.
Unsure. I use one in a pantry and it works fine. Installed another in a hallway closet and it fails to turn off.
Technically it would, but it won't turn on during the day. Only turns on when dark, it's a great bulb for porches.
Thank you for your question, we would not suggest this be used with garage door opener. It is not compatible with sensor devices.
Thank you for your question, as most LED's this bulb does emit a very minimal amount of microwaves.
Great to auto shut off of the light. Was to install and activate.
Idk. I bought it for outdoor use in front of my frontdoor home It worked for a while n now stays on all the time after dark
I use mine for outdoors and it works in cold weather.
Thank you for your question, actually the standard temperature for indoor should be -20 to 45C ( -4 to 113F) So it depends on the freezer temperature
The detection of these bulb are extremely sensitive; even through walls. It may not be on but rather just detects you faster than you expected..
There is a toggle switch on the bulb. One setting is for always on and the other utilizes the sensor functionality. Check to be sure it is set to use the sensor functionality.
Hello I have purchased these bulbs twice already works great for my front porch senses if someone is close by goes on then shuts off a few minutes later it shouldn't stay on continuously unless there is something wrong with the bulb
Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear about the issue with your Feit Electric bulb, at your convenience feel free to submit a warranty replacement. Here is the link to the warranty replacement request form: https://help.feit.com/contact/warranty-ryOwqpHsI
The small switch on the side of the bulb indicates if the bulb stays on or just senses
Thank you for your question, the bulb will need 120 voltage to operate. The switch will need to remain on for the bulb to function.
yes
yes it does.
Yes it has to be on to work
No, the switch is for automatic motion sensor or controlled only by light switch (Like a normal light bulb.)
I have had 3 of these lights on my house for over a year and It detects motion in all directions. I have one on a porch and it works when there is movement from any direction, I have been very happy with the light.
I've had that bulb for about a year now, and I use it in the foyer outside my front door in a hanging fixture. I too had that same quandary, so I e-mailed Feit and was told that the position of the sensor was pretty much immaterial, as it would detect motion from any direction. I've found that to be exactly true.
You may be able to rotate the light socket 180° In the junction box by loosening the screws that attach it and carefully turning it to disengage, then rotate, then re-secure in the rotated position. You should open the breaker before doing this and make sure there is enough slack in the wires to make the rotation.
Thank you for your question, reminder to make sure to point the sensor (the black dot on the side of the bulb) in the direction where it will get the most sunlight. The base/neck rotates to help make sure the sensor is pointing towards the sunlight. Once the sensor detects adequate sunlight it will turn the bulb off.
Delivered in under 7 days to be delivered. Works ok. The 10 minutes on time can be shortened. Would be good if a separate light buld can be detached instead of the fixed 60 watts bulb. $9 was a little over priced. 3/5 stars satisfaction.
Thank you for your feedback, this bulb can detect motion thru barriers such as walls, doors, windows. When used indoors, please make sure the switch on the side of the base is set to the moon/sun setting. If you continue to have issues with the bulb, feel free to submit a warranty replacement request, here is the link to the form: https://help.feit.com/contact/warranty-ryOwqpHsI
