We have purchased five of these and they will not go off! Help

AnswersMine would not turn off either. I pulled off the dark lens and found the clear plastic cylinder for the photocell was not lined up with hole. After repositioning it to center of hole and putting dark lens back on, it worked fine.
Maybe it's just me but try as hard as I could I have not been able to align the sensor to the fro...

AnswersThere is only about a 90 degree adjustment, so if bulb is screwed in with sensor facing wall, you can't get it to face outwards, just to one side. I pried off the dark button on mine, it now shuts off shortly after dawn. Others who have done this report that with the black button removed, light goes off and on. They were able to correct this with a piece of painter's tape over the hole. The tape is more translucent than the black button.

Just installed into both of my exterior fixtures. The front door came on before the garage side by about 5 minutes, but they're succesful. Very bright and lights up my area. Would recommend!!

Out of four garage door lights one is still working. I’ve replaced them only to stop working again after a short period. Wrote to the company but have yet to hear back from them. Novel idea if they worked.

This is a very easy way to achieve on-at-dusk off-at dawn, just be screwing in a new bulb. It is a rather expensive light bulb, but so are independent light sensitive switches.It works well. The light sensor on these bulbs may be less durable than the LED bulb function, if my limited experience corresponds with typical results. But Feit will replace a defective unit with very little red tape, so I still recommend it highly.

As you see in my photo provided, I was doubtful of it turning “on” when evening came. Our Exterior farm style garage fixtures have the bulb deep under the shade. Well Golly- Jeepers, it works like a charm and now I’m ordering more in the Soft White. ( I hate the “Bright-White” sterile looking ones!) This item exceeds my expectation! ..Sincerely, Prairie lady
