I highly recommend this item to anyone looking to improve their house lighting function to help improve the house controls. What a great addition to the house. Easy to install too!

Overall, this FEIT Electric Master Switch for under cabinet lighting seems like it would do the job. We initially purchased this remote thinking it would be able to work with some of the other lighting we already had installed. This was not the case. It appears as though you must be using the Feit Electric Onesync LED light system for this remote to work, so pay close attention to the lighting you buy! With that said, the remote itself seems to be made of high quality and appears as though it will last for some time. Having batteries included is a nice touch. The ability to set the dimming level and color temperature is what really interested us in this product and makes it stand out from similar products. Overall, easy to use, easy set up, and worth the price.

When I ordered this Feit Electric white under cabinet wireless remote handheld with mount, I could not figure out what I was getting.: ”under cabinet wireless remote handheld with mount”?? It went on to say control your Felt undercabinet lights with the remote. Probably lights with a remote. Nope. It is just the remote with a docking station. I do not own any Felt Electric products so I have no way to test the remote. I can say it appears to be well made with quality materials.

This is really a convenient item to have because you can control more than one light. I tried to use it on a FEIT light I had but it only works on the onesync FEIT fixtures. If your planning on using one of these remotes be sure you have the onesync light. The switch can be attached to the wall and the device is held in place with a magnet. The buttons are big and easy to read allowing you to control on/off as well as dimming. I really like that it can control more than one light.

There are no wires to install or connect and the remote looks like any other white wall switch. You can control one Feit LED light or up to one hundred, this remote will also control the lights output color from 2700K to 5000 K and the lights four levels of brightness from High, Medium, Low and Dim, Dim is more of a nightlight setting. The overall fit and finish of this remote is great, with its gloss white finish. It would have been nice to have the symbols on the buttons in a contrasting color but they are still fairly easy to see. When I tried to pair both of my lights I had to use the unpair process first then pair them both at the same time. The pair or unpair process is very easy, turn the lights on and hold the power switch until the light flashes, or if installing more than one light they all flash at once. Once this is done, the lights that are paired to the remote will function as one light. This remote makes updating or adding under cabinet lights very easy. Install the wall plate with the two wood screws or the double sided adhesive tape and install the remote into the magnetic wall plate, that's it. Since you only need to install the light strips, plug them into an existing outlet, then pair them to your remote. This project is well within most any DIY'er. The entire project should take about one or two hours (depending on how many lights are installed. Overall this is a super easy project, highly recommend this remote as an addition to your new under cabinet lights.

I'm an IT and electronic security person. I'm a techno wizard. And I could not get this to pair with the lights. Not even once. So, if I cannot figure it out, even with the instructions, I know it either isn't working or this is defective. But either way, I would not imagine you would have much fun trying to get this to work either. The instructions are contradicting. The instructions on the back of the remote do not match what is in the printed material, missing possibly one vital step. Even doing this one step too, it still did not work. When I tried this with the 8" light, it had an electrical short instead of blinking the light and rendered it unusable. Also, try to check to see if the batteries are in place correctly. Impossible to open the battery drawer. I know it works, because sometimes I can get the lights to blink, meaning they might be paired, but then when I try to do anything else, no go. They just keep blinking. And the remote doesn't work with the lights. I will say however, had this worked, I'd have been so happy. I really like the way this was designed. Honestly, a total fail. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This solves a couple of problems: where is the remote and wirelessly controlling undercounter lights that are not physically connected. It does require fixtures that are part on Feit Electrical’s OneSync System to work. The Feit literature lists an extra outlet module, a hard-wire converter (for plug-in lights), motion sensor control, a handheld remote, a control pad, a Wi-Fi smart device control and additional lighting—tape/rope/puck lights—as part of the OneSync system. I was interested in the Smart controller, but it is not listed on The Home depot website. I called Feit Customer Service and learned that the only accessories that are available are a wireless remote control—this product—a control pad and the additional lighting options. I am using the controller to operate a OneSync Flat Panel Light and a OneSync Light Bar which are electrically linked, but they do not need to be connected for the controller to work. The remote can control any light within 50-feet but they will all be controlled at the same time. The remote can be handheld or placed in a mounting plate affixed to the wall. The mounting plate is the same size as a standard switch plate and can be screwed to the wall or attached with 3M Tape, all included. The remote fits into a 1/8-inch deep recess in mounting plate and is held in place by a visible magnet. The remote protrudes about ¼-inch, barely enough to grasp to remove it. The remote is 3-3/4-inch tall by 1-3/8-inch wide by 3/8-inch thick. The addition of recesses on either side would make removal easier. However, I found that I seldom remove it since when it is in place, I always know where to find it. The remote has separate buttons for ON/OFF, dimming, and CCT (Change Color Temperature) selection. Initially, the remote needs to be “recognized” and then paired with the light fixtures. The pairing instructions in the printed Operating Instructions are clear and they are also included on a sticker on the back of the remote, albeit the instructions on the remote are a little different. In my case the sticker was applied crooked and the adhesive used does not allow it to be repositioned. I got the remote to pair and work after two tries and it has worked reliably since and at 40-feet. Once the fixtures are dimmed and then turned off and then back on, they will come on at the previously dimmed level. The remote is made in China.

Feit Electric Under Cabinet Handheld Remote UCL/Remote2 is well made. The surface will be easy to clean and is glossy. It's attractive. Simple to mount with two mounting options. They use 3M tape that you place in the two recesses on the back and stick it to the surface. The back pops off so you can also use the two provided screws to mount the base and then push the controller into the plate. It's 115mm x 70mm x 16mm thick. It feels heavy duty. You can pair it with eight models of lights and up to 100 units. Should you need it it comes with a full size template to make the install a snap. The controller has three push buttons. on/off, dim, CCT (color selector). The directions are simple. Very nice, easy setup and convenient.

Works well to control the FEIT Under Cabinet Lighting. I had some difficulty getting the remote to pair with the under cabinet lights, but finally got it to work by holding down the power button on remote before holding down the dimmer button as required in the instructions. I ordered several lights and this remote control to install under my kitchen cabinets, but was unable to properly install the lights without having an electrician come out and professionally install. I don't recommend these lights to novice Do It Yourself installers, but if you do install these lights, you definitely want this wireless handheld remote.
